What We Look For...  

We are looking for an energetic, experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic Zino Mediterranean Cuisines Restaurant team. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for exercising exemplary skills in managing the delivery of consistent, customer focused food service. This position should possess a mastery of service techniques, food and wine knowledge, training skills and team motivation.


The Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the facilities by establishing and maintaining quality and service standards and maximizing food and beverage profits.
  • Conducts pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events; reviews daily specials.
  • Ensures side work duties are complete and tables are set before, during, and after operating hours.
  • Schedules employees under direct supervision and monitors scheduling of indirect subordinates to insure proper staffing levels according to forecast; monitors employee performance, dependability and constantly improving knowledge.
  • Effectively hire, conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback for employees and discipline when needed.
  • Respond appropriately to guest comments and ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial results. Initiate corrective action as needed.
  • Achieve budged revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of the restaurant department.
  • Maintain procedures to (1) ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory and equipment, (2) ensure the security of monies credit and financial transactions, (3) replenish supplies, inventory, and uniforms, (4) minimize waste and control costs.


The Model Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years restaurant experience
  • 2-3 years experience in food and beverage and/or restaurant management required - preferably at an upscale facility
